NAGPAKITA SI JESUS SA IYANG MGA TINUN-AN


SI TOMAS NGA NAGDUHADUHA
JUAN 20:24-29

Si Tomas (nga ginganlag KAluha), usa sa 12 ka tinun-an, wala mahiuban kanila sa pag-anha ni Jesus. Busa gisuginlan siya sa ubang mga tinun-an, “Nakita namo ang Ginoo!”

Si Tomas miingon kanila, “Gawas kon Makita ko ug itapion ang akong tudlo sa inagian sa mga lansang diha sa iyang kamot, ug mahikap ko ang samad sa iyang kilid, dili ako motuo.”

Human molabay ang usa ka semana, nagtigom na usab ang mga tinun-an sulod sa lawak, ug nahiuban na kanila si Tomas. Gitrangkahan ang mga pultahan, apan mitungha si Jesus ug mibarog sa taliwala nili ug miingon, “ Mainyo unta ang kalinaw.” Unya miingon siya kang Tomas, “Tan-awa ang akong kamot ug hikapa kini; hikapa usab ang samad sa akong kilid. Tuo ug ayaw na pagduhaduha!”

Si Tomas miingon kaniya, “Ginoo ko ug Dios ko!”

Unya miingon si Jesus kaniya, “Mituo ka ba tungod kay nakakita ka kanako? Bulahan kadtong motuo bisan wala makakita kanako!”

Ug daghan pang mga milagro nga gibuhat ni Jesus sinaksihan sa iyang mga tinun-an nga wala mahisulat niining basahona. Apan gisulat kini aron kamo motuo nga si Jesus mao ang MEsiyas, ang Anak sa Dios, ug pinaagi sa maong pagtuo makabaton kamo ug kinabuhi diha sa iyang ngalan.

Tan-awa ang akong kamot...Tuo ug ayaw na pagduhaduha.”

ALANG SA MGA GINIKANAN
we all have times when Thomas' doubts become our doubts.  Maybe a year or two of bad crops.  Maybe financial ruin... maybe waiting for test results on a serious health condition... maybe someone who died... maybe having to place a loved one in the nursing home, maybe a marriage that has fallen apart. We all have time when it seems like God has failed us; when it seems like God has abandoned us.
Yet just as it was for Thomas, so it is for us.  Jesus appeared to the 10 disciples, when Thomas was not there, to assure them He was alive... to assure them of His love and His mercy.  Jesus then came back to appear to Thomas, to assure him of the same thing.  And in whatever situation, Jesus calls out to you.  He assures you of His love, His mercy, His kindness no matter what the situation. His love reaches out to you. remember, God loved that man Thomas enough to die for him, and reach out and assure him of the life that he had in Christ. He didn't call him a doubter.  He reached out to him in love.  That love reached out to you, and through you to others.  Amen.

Langitnon namong Amahan, labi kaming mapasalamaton sa Imong dakong gugma pinaagi ni Jesus nga namatay ug nabanhaw alang kanamo. Tabangi kami nga magsalig Kanimo kanunay ug ilikay kanamo ang maduha-duhaong kasingkasing. Sa Ngalan ni Jesus nga naga-anhi ug naga-amping, AMEN.
